Description
Sorta Clear 18 is a platinum-cure silicone rubber that cures to a soft, flexible, and translucent material. It’s great for projects where you want to see what’s inside the mold—like when casting with resin, wax, or even some food materials.
This silicone is easy to mix (1A:1B by volume), has a working time of about 25 minutes, and cures in around 4 hours at room temperature. Once cured, it’s durable, tear-resistant, and holds fine details well.
Because it’s translucent, Sorta Clear 18 is especially useful for mold makers, prop artists, and special effects professionals who need visibility during casting. You can also tint or pigment it if needed.
